Greetings and Happy Holidays from Martin

Hi and welcome to my newsletter, which you may have received for any number of reasons: you might be a current or past client, a business partner, a fellow photographer or perhaps just a friend that I thought might be interested in seeing what's going on.
I respect everyone's time and know its valuable so if you feel this is just one more email you'd prefer not to receive, please click the opt out button at the bottom...
If you do choose to stay on, I will update you every few months with New Work, News and Events, and other cool things that are going on. Thanks for taking the time and hopefully you'll find some useful and fun info!

I'm really excite to announce that I'm signing with Transmission Films, they will be representing me both as a commercial photographer and director. I'm looking forward to starting on some great projects with them. After a hugely successful first workshop in Toronto, my "Big Lights Far Away" workshop will be held in Vancouver on February 6,7,8. We've partnered with Langara College and Rethink Communications to create an experience that will take advanced amateur photographers to a professional level. |

New York kicks ass. We spent a week there and though I love my native Vancouver, it makes my home town seem like the sticks. Lots of galleries, restaurants, yoga studios and clubs to check out. Special thanks to Wade, Corwin and Tonia for the amazing trip. Click on the photo to see some random shots. |

Nothing will do more for your photography than to just keep shooting. This is especially true when things are slow. Spec projects like this are a great way to test your creativity and build your portfolio. |
