Dear Friends,
Happy New Year! This has been an energetic month with much movement and change. New colors, new pics, new home, new disasters, and new ways to help & support fellow humans on this planet.
As I step into having a home I am relieved and yet feel strange to be setting in roots when the people of Haiti have been up rooted by the earthquake. Yes, I have somewhere to place my alter, hang up my clothes and my pillows to snuggle with, and my heart goes out to the people of Haiti who have lost their homes and their loved ones.
There are many organizations that we can help through. Here's a list of ways
Remember all that you have, and all that you can give by supporting and helping those who don't have a choice.
It's going to be a year filled with prosperous, abundant love and joy! We will begin by making clear choices for the betterment of this planet and everyone in it.
This is not merely a prayer anymore, it's my belief.
Love and blessings.
Hugs,

Ask and you shall receive. WOW, what a whirlwind. I have found a place to reside and am spinning now from the quickness in which it came. Fast manifestations sometimes leave me with this feeling of not knowing what happened.
I am grateful, absolutely! I wanted to find home, and have set something in place to be my root for now. I really like being somewhere that I can place my alter (sacred space with special items connecting me to the divine source of love).
I get to start fresh and have items that have no attachment to my past. I'm experiencing 'Material enlightenment', something I made up meaning I have a lighter view and relationship to these material things.

My wife and I are nearing our retirement. We had planned and saved for our retirement. Our two daughters are married and on their own. Everything looked fine. Then, a few things changed – because of the economy, we both lost our jobs and our retirement account lost substantial value. We are not in a desperate situation but now we feel financially insecure. We once were not fearful but now we fear the unknown and feel somewhat hopeless. Please guide us to overcome this fear so that we can live in peace. Mike Dear Mike,
I have found that no matter how well I plan, life is full of surprises. They say, “If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.” Looks like you did everything right by raising two nice daughters and planning for your retirement. No matter how good the plan, the universe has a plan of its own and throws challenges in our lives. These challenges are there to make us stronger and resilient. It may seem like a setback when you consider the years of hard work and planning, yet this could be an opportunity in disguise. God’s plans are sometimes mysterious and these conditions are created for our growth. We are given adversity because we are capable of handling it (even though it may be tough). Sometimes challenges are there for us to evolve and grow and go beyond our limited vision. These tests and trials are there to awaken us to the greater-us that we are capable of becoming. If a child in school decides not to take the exam, he doesn’t progress. The same is true in our life. If you look back in your life I am sure that you have gone through much adversity and always came out better for it. The problem is not the adversity but our limited, fearful mind that wants security and safety. Any deviation or challenge is perceived by the material mind as fear and uncertainty, and this causes us to doubt our capability and faith.
