Africa Yoga Project Benefit Classes with Jane Cargill
Join Jane Cargill and support the global yoga community by attending these monthly benefit classes for the Africa Yoga Project (AYP).
Held on the last Friday of each month and alternating between the Brookline and Cambridge studios, the proceeds raised will help support the mentorship of Samuel Mutie, a 17 year old AYP teacher, who will eventually be coming to the BPYI Studios to teach!
About AYP: The Africa Yoga Project creates a community in Kenya that promotes peace, possibility, and unity through the practice of yoga. With over 400 free classes offered each week, AYP delivers a program that builds inner awareness and a greater sense of one-ness throughout East Africa.

Teacher Spotlight: Paula Harvey
|
|

If you have ever taken a class with Paula or even just met her, you know she will work you, hard. As a lifelong dancer and exercise enthusiast, Paula has a passion for movement and challenging the physical body. Although Paula has a knack for pushing people to new limits, she also has an endearing kindness and warmth laced with a charming sense of humor, making her a great teacher and person.
Paula has been practicing Baptiste since 2001, and is continually awed and inspired by what the practice and the community can do for the body and soul. She has experienced firsthand how the flow can connect us to our true selves in a way that didn’t seem possible. She is committed to sharing this with her students.
When not in the studio, you can find Paula working as a choreographer for fitness competitors, teaching hip hop and spinning classes, or enjoying her favorite dessert (an old fashioned chocolate chip cookie) with the two cutest dogs in the world. Oh, and maybe a great glass of Cabernet to top it off!
To experience Paula in her element, check out her 80’s inspired workshop on March 13th in Brookline!
